About the age of our ancestors
“There are legends in different cultures that say that patriarchs and gurus lived for 500-900 years. Even the Old Testament says: "All the days of Adam's life were nine hundred and thirty years." According to sacred sources, human life expectancy changed after the Great Flood - it gradually began to decrease and led to what we see today.
This could hardly be true. Not because I don't believe in longevity. On the contrary, I am convinced that people can really live longer and have an interesting, fulfilling life, even when they are over a hundred years old. It's just that in ancient times chronology in different places was built according to their own laws. If we compare the age of our ancestors with the modern calendar, we will see that many of them lived almost as long as those whom we knew personally."

What you need to do to live long
“The recipe for longevity has been known for a long time. It was formed thanks to the achievements of modern science, traditional knowledge about the body and spirituality. It is important to understand that "living long" is not an end in itself. It only makes sense if you manage to spend your time on Earth as efficiently and happily as possible. To allow yourself this luxury, I recommend following a few simple rules.
First, surround yourself with people who have the same goal as you. In other words, if you are supported by people who also want to live happily ever after, together it will be much easier for you to work on your body and mind. It seems that such a trifle does not matter at all, but the environment does have a significant impact on the style and rhythm of life.
Second, stay active at all times. At any age. At the same time, there is no need to overload yourself, go to the gym every day or try to swim across the English Channel. In my opinion, being active means maintaining a balance.

Third, watch your breathing. Controlled breathing techniques have a positive effect on the nervous system, and their healing effects can be easily explained through science. They improve mood, relieve stress, and soothe in critical situations. These practices are best done early in the morning and incorporated into your daily workout routine to help you focus and tune in to your workday. Also, several times a week I add yoga and meditation to them to cleanse myself of accumulated negative energy."
How to eat right
“The fourth essential ingredient in a longevity formula is choosing the right diet. Unfortunately, most people never develop the right eating habits to keep their bodies in good shape. Learn to listen to your body first. This will allow you to determine your own optimal serving size per meal and not overeat. At the same time, try to monitor the intake of essential vitamins and minerals in the body. But don't concentrate too much on food. Treat her wiser, she is just a source of vitality and energy.
I only eat when I feel hungry. Wherever I am, I listen to my body. When it says, "You're not hungry anymore!" - I stop. When it feels weak, I add more healthy foods and try to combine them correctly. There are a lot of vegetables in my daily diet - they contain almost everything that a person needs in order to lead an active lifestyle. But I also often eat fish and farm chicken. In my diet, I am very conservative, I can have the same breakfast for years, knowing that it is this food that brings the necessary substances into my body.
I have a 10-year-old son who loves snacks, and it happens that I succumb to temptation with him. I still continue to work on this bad habit. When I once again want to eat something that is not very useful, I dissuade myself by saying that I need to go for it, open the closet, then close it, go back, and, believe me, I end up letting go of this venture. This is one of the little tricks that help me lead a daily, conscious life."

About life in big cities
“Big noisy cities take at least several years from us. This is associated with environmental problems, and with malnutrition, and with increased levels of stress hormones. However, I understand that many of us are forced to live in the city because of work, study and personal affairs. If I had a choice, I would definitely prefer to spend most of my time away from civilization. But I have a son, he goes to school and I just can't pull him out of this environment.
Let's think about what can be done if we still have to constantly live in big cities. First of all, you need to pay attention to the place where you live. It is better to choose real estate in green areas - trees neutralize dust and air pollution. Each city has its own "lungs", try to be closer to them. When going for a walk or jog, try to do it away from the roads so that you do not breathe harmful emissions during physical activity.
Equally important is what we eat and where we buy our groceries. Their choice should be treated more responsibly than most of the inhabitants of megacities.
Another important point for those who plan to live a long time is to get proper rest in order to recover spent resources. You need to start working on this by creating an ideal daily routine: try to get enough sleep, spend enough time with your family. Learn to disconnect from work and tune in to rest. Then over time you will see how simple the recipe for a long and happy life really turned out to be.”>
