  • Make it a habit. Meditation can be easily linked to other daily activities such as brushing your teeth, showering, or making coffee. Try to accustom yourself to the same pattern of action: breakfast-wash-meditation.
  • Add meditation to your to-do list or calendar. If you are used to timing your time by the minute, look at the schedule and find a break to record your meditation. Let it be a challenge, not a random decision.
  • Continue the next day. Missed one meditation? This does not mean that you are hopeless and all efforts have gone to waste. At the heart of meditation is a constant return to the same thing - so if you miss a day, just go back and start again.
