What girl doesn't dream of Tiffany & Co. 's treasured turquoise box ? ? Now you can make such a gift to your beloved without a marriage proposal and, importantly, gaps in the budget. The perfumery direction of the brand finally broke the long-term silence - for more than ten years the brand's perfumes were not produced at all - and in early November the long-awaited fragrance appeared on the windows next to the rings and pendants. The glass bulb does not look foreign in this company: creating a new chapter in history, Tiffany & Co. relied on the heritage of the jewelry brand.

The idea was to get a "liquid diamond", and its creators followed all the codes of the house. The special shape of the bottle is reminiscent of the legendary Tiffany cut diamond weighing 128.54 carats, and the straight geometric lines of the bottle shoulders evoke the signature Lucida cut. And even iris, the main note of the fragrance, took its place for a reason: hidden here is a reference to the famous brooch in the form of this flower with rare green pomegranates and sapphires, which received the highest award at an exhibition in Paris in 1900.

As for the composition itself, it turned out to be clean, transparent, sparkling, elegant and modern. In short, exactly what one would expect from a brand associated with the American aristocracy. And there is every reason to believe that the perfume will be successful, because, not even mentioning the quality of the fragrance itself, for the buyer this is an affordable way to touch the coveted brand, and for the brand it is a good opportunity to introduce its philosophy to a wider circle of people, including the young and not yet a very solvent audience.

At the same time, Boucheron is working in a completely different direction. Instead of another fragrance at a nice price for the mass consumer, the brand launched a niche line - with limited distribution and the rarest and most expensive ingredients in the base (oud, amber, iris, and further down the list), which affects the cost.

The range includes six scents that are sent on a trip without visas and foreign passports. Oud de Carthage talks about the places where gem hunters Boucheron brought smoky quartz, and Iris de Syracuse - about the rocky coast of Sicily. Néroli d'Ispahan is an ode to the beautiful gardens of Isfahan, Ambre d'Alexandrie leads straight to Alexandria, Vanille de Zanzibar takes to the shores of the Indian Ocean, to Zanzibar, and Tubéreuse de Madras to Madras, where tuberose was first grown. Its pale yellow core resembles diamonds.

The matter does not end with only new fragrances, albeit so interesting, - Cartier is looking for alternative ways to surprise. At the end of October, the house unveiled its first "Unidentified Scented Object" - Objet sentant non identifié, or simply OSNI.

For four days, a glass cube with a fragrant mist inside appeared on the territory of the Parisian Palais de Tokyo. And this is not a metaphor - everyone could climb the spiral staircase into a real cloud, restored and stabilized using bioclimatic technologies developed by Transsolar. Only one detail distinguished him from a real cloud - the smell of citrus, honey, guaiac wood and musk.

It is not yet clear when to expect a new multisensory installation, but it is certain that Le Nuage Parfumé will not be the last in the OSNI series. In the meantime, you can create a cloud right at home: just spray the new L'Envol de Cartier men's eau de toilette - the scent will be identical.>
