Beauty rituals before and after flights

Before the plane, I cleanse my skin and apply moisturizer to my face and hands. During the flight, Clinique All About Eyes saves in the form of a roller under the eyes and Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Repair Balm for lips, and after the flight it is good to use a Korean fabric face mask. They perfectly moisturize and soothe the skin.

After the flight, a shower and a moisturizing body milk are required. Even if the flight was short, the skin dries too much. To avoid edema, I try to drink more pure non-carbonated water.

A must-have beauty kit for any situation

Since I have more than enough decorative cosmetics on set, I take with me mainly skin care products. For example, La Roche-Posay soothing toner for sensitive face and eyes - I cleanse my face with it daily. Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Moisturizing Gel absorbs quickly and moisturizes well. Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Lip Repair Balm, as it turned out, not only saves chapped lips, but also quickly heals burns. Sometimes, to cover up the bruises under the eyes, I use the Tom Ford concealer.

Beauty incident at a shooting / fashion show

Once on a show, I got an infection in my eye, and two days later a cosmetic campaign was scheduled to shoot. At the same time, everything took place in London, where you cannot buy a single antibiotic without a prescription. As a result, the only antiseptic drops that I had with me dripped into my eyes, applied a cotton pad with chlorhexidine. Of course, there was little sense and in such situations it is better not to self-medicate. It's good that the film crew went to meet and the makeup artist did everything possible to make up a puffy eye.

Skin and hair care after professional makeup / styling

Especially my leaving here does not differ from everyday. The only thing is that after filming I use a light scrub and apply a nourishing cream. In hair care, I try to never dry my hair with a hairdryer, because they already have enough irons and hairs on the set. Once a week I apply a mask to my hair and cut the split ends once a couple of months.

Life hack from professional makeup artists

The most important advice from all makeup artists is to take off your makeup after shooting, no matter how light it is and wherever I am late.

Sports, nutrition and drinking regimen

Recently I faced kidney problems, and the doctor explained to me how important it is to drink plain water and how strongly different foods affect the kidneys, and therefore, swelling. Since then, I have been trying to monitor the drinking regimen and adjust it depending on the products consumed. In fact, I eat almost everything and with great pleasure. I hope that until the age of forty I can afford it. Recently I returned to sports after a long break - I love jogging and Pilates.

Beauty rituals before and after flights

During the flight, the most important thing for me is to drink enough water (approximately 200 ml per hour) to stay hydrated. I also try to carry a small spray of rose water with me - for quick moisturizing of the face. Now I have it from the Sephora brand.

Upon arrival at the hotel, if there is time, I do a moisturizing mask. I really love the Japan Gals Hyalpack and Jayjun Baby Pure Shining Mask. I have tried a huge variety of masks in different price categories, and for all their low cost, these are the funds that remain my favorites. When I return home, the first thing I do is go to a manicure and pedicure, because in Russia they do it at the highest level.

A must-have beauty kit for any situation

My makeup bag, which I won't go anywhere without, will always have: Anastasia Beverly Hills colorless eyebrow gel, Lucas' Papaw lip balm, Elemis Rich Marine Cream, Clé de Peau concealer, Tweezerman tweezers, any brand of coconut oil.

Beauty incident at a shooting / fashion show

Once during one of the fashion weeks, I had six shows in one day. This means that I had to do six different makeup and hairstyles in one day. I only managed to move from one show to another. Note that I have very sensitive skin around my eyes. And before the last show of this day, my eyes were so tired of makeup, removing makeup and applying new, touches of not always perfectly clean brushes that they were swollen and almost never opened. The makeup artist had to soak his eyes with milk - oddly enough, it helped.

The best rest for my face is a good moisturizer, SPF and no makeup whatsoever. Of the procedures, I like to do Intraceuticals for moisturizing and Biogenie, but already as an exit procedure.

Life hack from professional makeup artists

The beauty secret I got from the experts is to use one product as blush, lipstick, and eyeshadow for daily makeup. At the same time, I believe that no makeup artist knows your face better than you. Therefore, very rarely make-up artists can reveal to me something new besides interesting shades and brands unfamiliar to me.

Sports, nutrition and drinking regimen

Sport helps me not only to keep myself in shape, but also to maintain my fighting spirit. I don't even know what is more important to me here. I alternate between pilates, yoga, cycling, ballet - all depending on what my body wants at the moment. Regarding nutrition: I realized by trial and error that the most important thing for me is harmony, nutrition without any restrictions and extremes. I eat what I want, what my body asks for. This is how my weight stopped jumping and returned to normal.

Beauty rituals before and after flights

I lack fresh air on the way. Queues at the airport and stuffiness on the plane immediately affect the condition of the skin - dirt and enlarged pores appear. Therefore, I make sure to make a mask of blue clay on the eve of departure and upon arrival at the hotel. It helps to cleanse and tone the face after the road. Then I apply a very light moisturizer - now I use Yves Rocher's Ultracomfort 24 Hours.

The most important beauty ritual for me is a healthy and sound sleep. It is he (and not cosmetic procedures) that most often determines what my appearance will be tomorrow. On trips, and especially after the flight, I try to devote enough time to it so that I look and feel refreshed during the day.

In my experience, the best remedy for removing swelling and traces of fatigue is hyaluronic acid and cosmetics based on it. Here I am not sticking to a particular brand - this component is so effective in itself that both professional and very inexpensive means work well with it. I usually use an ampoule serum or gel (I like La-Roche Posay and the Korean FarmStay most of all), and I also apply a special gel for the skin around the eyes. I always have these products with me when traveling, I use them less often at home.

Upon returning home, I will definitely relax in a warm bath with aromatic bombs or just essential oils (jojoba, shea, ylang-ylang). In general, I really like essential oils and their effect on the body - not only during cosmetic procedures. For general tone, stress relief or vice versa, to invigorate, I warm up different oils and their combinations in an aroma lamp.

A must-have beauty kit for any situation

I always have a minimal set with me: an eyebrow pencil with a brush, lip balm, antiseptic hand gel. Previously, I always carried a bottle with a tonal base in my bag, but now I don't use decorative cosmetics at all. When traveling, this set is complemented by a softening hand cream and a moisturizing face cream, cleansing strips and eye patches. Even on trips, fabric sachet masks are very convenient - I usually take Garnier with hyaluronic acid and Korean ones with green tea extract.

Life hack from professional makeup artists

One of the recent discoveries for me was Weleda Skin Food moisturizer - I learned about it from a makeup artist on the set in Naples. There is a humid maritime climate that dries out the skin in winter, and this is especially noticeable on the skin of the hands. In terms of moisturizing and nourishing properties, this is the best cream I have used. And its additional plus - it works very quickly. I always put it in my suitcase now too.

Sports, nutrition and drinking regimen

It is very important for me not to skip breakfast, especially if there are important things to do in the afternoon. I try to follow this principle always and everywhere. Sometimes you have to get up very early, when the body has not really woken up. In such cases, yoghurt and fresh fruits (bananas, kiwi, apples) whipped in a blender are best. I can swallow this breakfast even with a complete lack of appetite, while it gives energy for two to three hours.

It is very important for the purity of the skin and the body to drink well purified or natural water. I usually drink at least 1 liter of clean water during the day (about 2 liters in summer). Instead of coffee, I prefer black and herbal teas (chamomile, lime blossom). They have a milder effect on the nervous system.

Due to my complexion, I do not need to keep track of my weight, but I perfectly understand how my general health depends on the quality and composition of food. I try to eat a balanced diet so that the diet contains vegetables, herbs, fresh fruits, meat or fish, and dairy products. Due to the absence of weight problems, it can be difficult to control myself in excesses - sometimes I lose measure in sweets, knowing that this will not affect my figure in any way. There have never been any noticeable nutritional problems, and I hope there never will be. So far, I have never had a need for diets, but I think it would be the most difficult for me - to limit myself to one constant set of foods, without the opportunity to try something new and not always useful.>
