Piaget demonstrated the ultra-thin watch-concept Altiplano Ultimate Concept exactly three years ago, at the Geneva salon of high watchmaking art SIHH - 2018. The thickness of the watch case was a record 2 mm. This became possible due to the mutual "penetration" of the case and the mechanism of the watch (caliber 900P-UC with manual winding): the case back serves at the same time as a plate for fastening its components. The cobalt alloy, from which the case with a diameter of 41 mm is made, is 2.3 times harder than gold - thus the engineers tried to protect the mechanism from impacts as much as possible. It is now separated from the wrist by a cobalt plate just 0.12mm thick.

In 2018, Piaget showed off a unique piece, and during the Watches & Wonders virtual show in April 2020, they announced the serial launch.
Altiplano Ultimate Concept is so difficult to assemble that serial production will be limited to three copies per year. But the watch can be personalized. For this, a special online configurator has been developed. Altiplano Ultimate Concept by you allows you to assemble an individual piece according to six parameters: the color of the cobalt case, the shade of the dial and hands, the color of the bridges and screws, as well as the strap palette - about 200 thousand possible combinations in total. Another bonus is the ability to engrave the platinum (maximum three letters).
After placing an order and making an advance payment of at least 50% of 37 million rubles, the client will have to wait about a year until his personal watch Altiplano Ultimate Concept is manufactured at a manufactory in Switzerland and delivered to the desired address.
