Grace Kelly's granddaughter Charlotte Casiraghi becomes Chanel's new ambassador
The fashion house Chanel has announced a new ambassador. It was Charlotte Casiraghi, journalist, entrepreneur and granddaughter of Grace Kelly, an Oscar-winning actress and tenth Princess of Monaco. Casiraghi maintains a close relationship with Chanel from a young age: in 2012 she starred for the book The Little Black Jacket: Chanel's Classic Revisited by Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld, and in 2019 she married French film producer Dmitry Rassam, and appeared at the ceremony in a dress from the couture collection of the fashion house.
Representatives of Chanel say that the heiress to the throne of Monaco starred in an advertising campaign for the spring-summer 2021 collection, which will be presented on January 1, and also became a member of the Literary Meetings on Rue Cambon project, organized with the creative director of the brand Virginie Viard. Meetings dedicated to the love of Gabrielle Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld for literature will be held throughout 2021 with the participation of famous writers and actresses. The event will be broadcast on the Chanel website and social networks.
