The source of inspiration for the collaboration of the Pushkin Museum. A. S. Pushkin and the Rassvet brand by Gosha Rubchinsky served as one of the largest collections of Japanese prints in Russia, the press service of the museum emphasizes.
For the collection entitled "Dawn 7" they chose the triptych "Moon on the Godse Bridge" from the series "Snow, Moon, Flowers and Valiant Warriors" (1867) and the diptych "Inuzuka Shino and Inukai Gampachi Fighting on the Roof of the Horyukaku Pavilion of Koga Castle" (1885– 1887), created by Tsukioka Yoshitoshi (1839-1892), as well as the engraving "Clash of the warriors Taira no Atsumori and Kumagai no Naozane" (1843-1846) Utagawa Sadahide (1807-1873).
Fragments of each print were used in all-over print on three skateboards, two long-sleeved T-shirts, a denim jacket and a shopper bag. Full images are presented on three T-shirts with a red, black and cream background.

The first joint project of the Pushkin Museum with the Rassvet brand took place in 2019. For the exhibition “Shchukin. Biography of the collection”prepared skateboards and shirts with images of three masterpieces by Paul Gauguin.
“The Pushkin Museum has one of the best collections of Japanese art in Russia,” says the museum's director Marina Loshak. "Therefore, we especially appreciate this opportunity to show the world three rarely exhibited works from our collection, interpreted in the language of fashion by incredibly talented artists."
The lookbook was filmed by Gosha Rubchinsky in the Moscow Botanical Garden in the space of a quiet traditional Japanese garden. The collection will go on sale on September 24 in multi-brand stores "KM20" and "October".
