Tonka beans
The Indians of South America considered these beans magical: although the stems from them did not grow up to the sky, the fruits of the tree growing in the tropics were appropriated the ability to bring good luck, fulfill wishes and protect against diseases. In addition to these undoubtedly useful properties, black seeds of dipteryx have an incomparable multifaceted aroma: they smell at the same time of vanilla, cinnamon, almonds and cloves. And, despite the sweetish aftertaste, they are most often used in men's perfumery.
