So for a chiseled waist, you first need to go to the gym, and what to do there - says Igor Balashov, fitness director of the Les Trois Santes club.
Correct cardio
Assess the situation - if the figure looks more like a mandolin than a cello, it makes sense to start with fat burning first, and cardio works best in this matter.
When there are no serious contraindications, a treadmill will work most effectively. You need a medium intensity load, which means that the pulse should be in a special interval. Its lower limit is calculated as follows: age is subtracted from 220, and then the difference is multiplied by 0.65 (when it comes to the upper one, it should be multiplied by 0.8). So, in 35-year-olds, it should keep from 120 to 148 beats per minute.
You should not be afraid for your knees - in order to accelerate your heart to the desired indicators, you will go to jogging as much as possible, plus you need to choose sneakers with good shock absorption. I like Nike Run and Asics, but basically any running shoes will do - tennis, cross-fit and dance shoes are contraindicated in running.
If the track is not for you, head to the pool to wind circles: monotonous strokes that will keep the pulse in the right range are also great for burning fat.
Pilates
To get a truly wasp waist (and not a press board), you need to train the transverse abdominal muscle: being in good shape, it encircles you like a belt, puts all organs in place and gives the body beautiful feminine contours. This muscle loves not lethal pumping, but static. The simplest option is a plank. And the more interesting options will be shown in Pilates training.

The simulator, originally intended for the US Marines, assumes that the body is constantly at one or another angle to the floor. And when it comes to vector loading, stabilizing muscles are always involved. So absolutely any exercise performed on this apparatus - be it push-ups or lunges - involves the work of the press.

The class format involves exercises for a complex effect on the muscles of the core (they are the ones that form the waist) using water resistance. Moreover, unlike ground training, with a serious load on the target zone, a possible negative effect on the back is practically excluded, which is impossible outside the pool. The only thing under water is easier to phony: when it comes to a group lesson, the coach may not immediately notice it. So self-control is very important here.
ABS + FLEX
In this lesson, you will influence the abs in all the ways that you only have enough imagination: exercises are performed in different modes of muscle contractions, additional equipment is used: fitball, hemisphere, body bars, rubber shock absorbers. But you will have to work actively for only 20 minutes, because in fact the press does not need anymore. Then there is a half-hour stretch - it helps the muscles recover faster and over time makes them more flexible.
