Fendi announces collaboration with Dior Men Creative Director Kim Jones
Dior Men's Creative Director Kim Jones joins Fendi. This was announced by the press service of the Italian brand, stressing that the designer will work on women's haute couture and ready-to-wear collections together with the current art director Silvia-Venturini Fendi. However, he will retain his position at Dior.
“Kim Jones is a great talent, and since joining LVMH (the conglomerate that owns Fendi, Dior, Louis Vuitton and other luxury brands -), he has consistently proved his ability to adapt to the DNA and heritage of our fashion houses by revising them with great modernity and boldness, - Bernard Arnault, President of LVMH, comments on the appointment of the designer. “I am convinced that his vision and passion will greatly contribute to the success of Fendi's women's collections.”
Kim Jones will present the first collection for the Italian brand at Milan Fashion Week in February.

Dior opened a boutique in Stoleshnikov Lane after reconstruction
Image of a reconstructed space with a total area of 600 sq. m refers to the interiors of the brand's Parisian boutique at rue Saint-Honoré 261, which opened in July. These are warm colors, oak flooring, ornaments in the form of historical Dior symbols (Cannage pattern, pleats, fans and clover petals), dusty rose Ziebelin rugs, light oval Art Nouveau armchairs and a large-scale Abstraction panel by Ettienne Moyat, wood carving masters. The concept of the renovated boutique was developed by architect Peter Marino, who had previously collaborated with Dior.
