According to WWD, Gabriela Hirst's first collection for Chloé will be shown at Paris Fashion Week in March 2021. The publication emphasizes that it is important for the French brand that Hirst is a supporter of sustainable development. Last week, the designer was recognized by the British Fashion Council's award for eco-initiatives, in particular for the use of recycled cashmere and paper in clothing. Chloé plans to move to a business model based on social resilience and focus on empowering women in the fashion industry.
Previously, Phoebe Fileo, who held this position from 2001 to 2006, and Simon Port Jacquemus, founder of the Jacquemus brand, were expected to replace Chloé's creative director.

Recall that Gabriela Hirst's design career began with work on the Candela brand in 2002. In 2015, the designer founded the brand of the same name, one of the most notable items of which was the Nina bag, which looks like Meller candy. This is the bag worn by Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, which greatly influenced the popularity of the model: more than 100 people appear on the Nina waiting list every year.>
