Alexander McQueen launches Tall Story bag
Alexander McQueen continues to expand the The Story line of bags. The collection of the British brand already has a voluminous clutch and cross-body on a chain, each of which is complemented by a distinctive element of the series - a metal curly handle attached to the lid. The capacious shopper Tall Story, presented by the fashion house in the fall-winter 2020/21 season, received it. In addition to the metal handle, the bag has two leather straps that allow you to carry it in your hands or on your shoulder. Tall Story is crafted in matte, quilted or embossed leather, accented on the inside in a contrasting color. All models are already on sale in the Alexander McQueen boutiques in Tretyakovsky Proyezd and Barvikha Luxury Village, as well as in a corner in TSUM.

Loewe presented a joint filming with TSUM
Loewe presented the spring-summer 2021 collection not in physical or even virtual format, but through paper dolls sent to journalists, buyers and friends. Designed by creative director Jonathan Anderson and artist Anthea Hamilton, the Show-on-the-Wall set consists of archival photographs of Stephen Meisel, creative tools (canvas bag, brushes, glue and scissors), a roll of wallpaper, edging with new looks, as well as a ceramic disc with beetroot aroma and notes for the piece by the composer “Spem in Alium” Thomas Tallis. All of this is accompanied by a personal letter from the designer and sixteen posters the size of a bus stop, made using fluorescent silk screen printing technique. They show models of different ages, genders and body types in fluffy dresses, jumpsuits and Loewe suits.
The same set went to the model and artist Jolie Alien (Zhenya Makarova), who went with him to the center of Moscow. She cut out paper dolls to hang them on billboards and bus stops, and pasted posters with edging. Part of the process is shown in a joint shoot by Loewe and TsUM for the Spring-Summer 2021 collection. It will go on sale in the spring.

Masterpeace has created a series of shoppers with the Granny's retirement support project
From now on, orders in the online store of the Russian brand Masterpeace will be delivered to customers in eco-friendly shoppers. They were created in collaboration with the Granny's project, in which retirees from different cities of the country knit products from Peruvian wool. This time, they were asked to expand the boundaries of creativity and hand-sew scraps of fabrics left over from the production of Masterpeace collections. The designer of the brand Evgeniya Linovich often uses the patchwork technique in order to reduce the amount of material residues and thus not to litter the environment.

WOS opened its first store in Moscow
The Russian brand WOS, founded by designer Andrey Artemov, has opened its first store in Moscow. It is located on Strastnoy Boulevard next to the Salyut bike cafe. On this occasion, the establishment has a breakfast called WOS, which consists of boiled sausages, soft-boiled eggs, Druzhba cheese and a glass of champagne.
Architect Peter Yushin worked on the project of the store itself, who, recalling his favorite sanatoriums in Abkhazia and the Crimea, added white tiles, wood and aluminum to the interior. “Modules, on which things and accessories were laid out, were covered with white tiles. A working panel with a cash register was decorated with wood sheathing, which was deliberately turned "facing" the windows so that it could be viewed from the street. One of the large windows will eventually be hung with tulle on Soviet rings - another important WOS code that is often found in the brand's collections,”Andrey Artyomov says about the store.
Previously, the brand's items were sold in TSUM and Tsvetnoy department store, as well as in an online store launched in 2019 and delivering WOS collections around the world.
