The most valuable luxury brands in the world named
Consulting firm Brand Finance has released a study on the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on premium and luxury brands. According to him, the consequences of the spread of COVID-19 will hit hardest on car and clothing manufacturers. Their cost will decrease by 10% in contrast to cosmetic brands, which are better at weathering the crisis. The 50 most valuable luxury brands are also expected to decline more than $ 20 billion from January 1, 2020. The rating of those, according to BrandFinance, is now headed by Porsche, whose value is estimated at $ 33.9 billion, followed by Gucci ($ 17.63 billion), Louis Vuitton ($ 16.5 billion), Cartier ($ 15 billion), Chanel ($ 13.7 billion) and Hermès ($ 11.9 billion).
In addition to assessing the value of brands, the consulting company analyzed their ability to influence consumer choice. It is based on criteria such as marketing strategy, recognition, loyalty, employee satisfaction and corporate reputation. Ferrari, Lancôme, Estée Lauder, Hermès, Moncler, SK-II and Bottega Veneta did the best at this.
Lyst and Highsnobiety publish a list of the most promising brands
Another rating was presented by the personal recommendation service Lyst in cooperation with the publication Highsnobiety. Next 20 lists 20 young brands and 20 personalities who have the most impact on the fashion industry today. In the process of compiling the list, the project team analyzed the popularity and recognition of brands and personalities through an algorithm that combined sales and search metrics from more than 100 million users per year. Jay, Black in Fashion Council co-founder Sandrine Charles, and 424 brand founder Guillermo Andrade.
