Russian brand "Nate" staged a performance in support of Belarusians

The founder of the St. Petersburg brand “Nate” Yana Koretskaya has teamed up with the artist Varvara Grankova to conduct a performance in support of Belarusians. On the Tverskoy Bridge near the Belorussky railway station in Moscow, they spread a 100-meter canvas of red fabric, echoing the official flag of the Belarusian People's Republic, which is today used as a symbol of the protest movement.

“With this action, we would like to remind you that right next to us there is a violation of all human rights by the most barbaric methods, and to support those who are being dispersed right now from Minsk streets with water cannons. Show them that they are not alone. Support everyone, from Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, who was outlawed in Russia, to ordinary young guys who are still fighting for the truth and their country. After all, only thanks to them and in their name are at least some changes for the better possible,”the authors of the performance commented.
