Idea
Simon-Port Jacques is not just a designer, but also a storyteller. There is a bright story behind each of his collections, catching the press, bloggers and buyers alike. And it doesn't matter - we are talking about female or male things. Everyone wants to be part of the Jacquemus universe. In addition, the images offered by the designer are so distinctive that they cannot be confused with anything.
The debut men's collection was named Le Gadjo ("Gypsy") and absorbed all the best that Jacquemus is famous for: the frivolous moods of the south of France, and in particular of Marseille, the designer's hometown. Hence - the marine theme, an abundance of colors, free silhouettes. Everything you need for the summer, both on the coast and in the city.

Great accessories
The collection includes a full house of belt bags, cardholders, as well as bulky bags created at the intersection of sports and casual style. Hats also turned out great, especially panamas - the most fashionable men's accessory this spring-summer season. Despite the fact that the accessories are quite neutral and fit the informal clothes of any other brand, they definitely cannot be called boring.

Lack of age
If the women's collections of the brand are intended, rather, for a young audience, then the men's line can easily be imagined both on a 17-year-old boy and on a person of a more respectable age. Loose shirts, Bermuda shorts, straight jeans, cargo, laconic trousers with interesting details and bright, but not kitsch prints can be imagined on a man of any age and type of activity - although Jacquemu himself said that he created clothes for his heroine's younger brother. An older audience should love the knitwear created in partnership with The Woolmark.

Intelligibility
Jacquemus collections are simple yet highly individual. The designer does not conduct complex experiments and does not create things that would be difficult for mere mortals to approach. This is partly why they love him so much. Everything that he shows on the show is really ready-to-wear, that is, already ready to wear. You don't need to rack your brains over the images and think “what the author wanted to say”. You can just put on perfectly tailored trousers, a shirt, grab a bag, complement the image with sneakers or sandals and leave the house, probably knowing that it all looks beautiful, uncommon and simple in a good way.
The same looks can be seen in the fall-winter collection of the brand: there are still no deliberate complications in it. But there are sweaters in abundance that will fit equally well on different types of figures, straight trousers, corduroy, good-quality jeans, anoraks, and elements of a work uniform. Everything is done in accordance with modern trends, but at the same time it is addressed not to fashion bloggers, but to ordinary people.>
