These days, perhaps, there are no brands that would not lobby for wearing a suit: it is elegant, comfortable, functional, and also solves the problem of combining a jacket with trousers. You only need to think about how to style the costume so that in everyday life it does not look too formal. In the fall-winter 2020/21 season, designers offer options from tweed, velvet, denim, corduroy and suede in bright colors, for which a turtleneck instead of a shirt, a knitted vest instead of a suit and Cossacks instead of classic boats or brogues are selected.

Method 1.With a turtleneck
The turtleneck makes even a classic suit look different. And it doesn't matter what shade it is: red, as at the Balmain show, mint, as at the Lacoste show, or pink, as in the male look from the Lanvin autumn-winter collection. My favorite option is nude: at first glance, it seems that the suit is on a naked body. The effect will be improved by a turtleneck made of thin fabric or with imitation tattoos, as in the Ukrainian brand TTSWTRS.

Method 2.With a coat in the same color scheme
Playing with a formal suit can be even more interesting than wearing a designer, modified one. So, with a bright blue, candy pink or brick three-piece suit, an oversized coat of the same shade looks good. Fashionable combo will complement glasses, shirt, shoes and bag in color. Look for inspiration at Max Mara shows.

Method 3.With a belt
Designers of women's collections wrap suits both coarse (woolen, voluminous, dark) and neo-romantic (soft, decorated, colorful) with a belt. I like this option, as it emphasizes the waist on the one hand, and visually increases the hips and shoulders on the other. The belt itself can be anything: thin or wide, long or short, made of leather or from the same fabric as the suit. In addition, you can attach interesting details to it: a miniature bag, a flask, a case for AirPods or a keychain.

Method 4.With a tie
Quarantine divided people into several types: some are accustomed to comfortable clothes and do not plan to give up on it, others have missed glitter, feathers and other attributes of the holiday, and still others longed for an office dress code at a distance - so much so that they are willing to voluntarily wear jackets and ties. Prada, Balenciaga and Dior support this desire, but they recommend that formalities be observed only partially: let a suit with a tie be non-standard - made of nylon, with a skirt-trousers or an elongated jacket.

Method 5.With a vest or cardigan
For lovers of comfort and warmth, designers suggest wearing a jacket and trousers with a vest. But not with a suit, but with a knitted one - one that can be found in a grandmother's chest of drawers or knitted with your own hands. It is better if the suit is in a neutral shade, and the vest is bright, in the color of outerwear, shoes and accessories. Down should wear a plain T-shirt, turtleneck or long sleeve.
