The trend of men's blue watches can be called one of the most stable. Back in the mid-2010s, this "new black" finally went beyond the sporty and professional lines of the sea to become a versatile shade. Perhaps the only ban on blue watches is the black tie dress code, the quintessential black tie. Less austere and demanding, softer and more relaxed, blue suits the casual style perfectly - from the emphatically sporty or business to the most relaxed option. To create this palette of moods, straps also help: leather (including with imitation fabric), rubber, NATO.
Patek Philippe's first new product for 2020 is the steel Calatrava, timed to coincide with the opening of the new factory building in Plan-les-Ouates. Blue was chosen for the limited edition.

Another premiere of 2020, a watch of the Grand Complications rank, is performed in blue. The new split-chronograph has received a platinum case and a magnificent blue enamel dial, on which complex markings are imprinted in white - chronograph counters, small seconds window, tachymeter scale. The hand-wound caliber CHR 29-535 PS is protected by six patents.

Tudor has dressed the Black Bay Fifty-Eight flagship model in blue with a 200-meter waterproof steel case. The blue diving watch from Tudor first appeared in 1969 (soon after the premiere, the term Tudor Blue even came into use) - in addition to the blue dial and bezel, a synthetic strap of this shade was proposed. For ten years now, textile straps for Tudor have been made by the French family company Julien Faure, which also collaborates with Montblanc.
This year, the brand unveiled its iconic 1858 Geosphere in blue: the lacquered dial has a degraded effect, and the sfumato-dyed alligator leather strap is made in the Montblanc leather workshops in Florence. The new Star Legacy Orbis Terrarum with world time function also came out in blue. The dial consists of two discs: a transparent sapphire crystal with the image of the continents rises above the blue one, imitating the world's oceans. The world time is corrected by the button at the 8 o'clock position. Made by Montblanc Pelleteria.

The reputable manufacturer Jaeger-LeCoultre first produced the Memovox sound module 70 years ago. And today it presents the Master Control Memovox Timer model with a useful timer function: it allows you to set the period of time after which the alarm goes off. This time is displayed on the inner ring with a small arrow with a red JL logo at the end. The dial in two shades of blue is enclosed in a 40 mm steel case.
The classic Blancpain Villeret collection is also dressed in blue. In this color, two new items are presented at once: the complex Villeret Quantième Complet watch with a complete calendar and the elegant three-hand Villeret Ultraplate watch. Their blue sunray dials are paired with a red gold case.
