The coronavirus epidemic has confused the plans of watch brands. More and more companies are introducing the option of buying watches online. And now we are ready to conduct online presentations of our new products. On April 16, Breitling CEO Georges Kern hosted the first Global Summit Webcast, highlighting the major launches of 2020. The canceled Watches & Wonders salon in Geneva (formerly SIHH) was also decided to be held online.
Customers, retailers, journalists, and watchmakers are invited to join the new digital platform watchesandwonders.com. It will start working on April 25 at exactly 13:00 Moscow time (noon CET). The site will feature pages of each of the 30 members of the salon - from the grandees of Cartier, Vacheron Constantin and Jaeger-LeCoultre to small brands from the Carré des Horlogers section: Armin Strom, Speake Marin and others.
For the opening of the Watches & Wonders virtual salon, the Foundation for Fine Watchmaking (FHH) has prepared a series of 10-minute videos in which the heads of the companies will present their new products. You can watch them later. Visitors to watchesandwonders.com will have an interesting program, no less intense than the days of the traditional watch exhibition at Palexpo: round tables with experts, analysis of industry trends, acquaintance with artisan techniques and much more.
The organizers hope that the watchesandwonders.com platform will become the main meeting place, albeit a virtual one, where you can get the latest news from the watch business. The content will be constantly updated.
“We are proud to partner with the world's best watch brands to bring the Watches and Wonders concept online - and at the times our industry needs it most,” commented Fabienne Lupot, President and Managing Director of the Haute Horlogerie Foundation. Let's Connect!>
