It is not the first time on New Year's Eve that the house of Van Cleef & Arpels pleases Russian clients with its historical masterpieces - today these items are included in the archive collection of the jewelry brand.
More than 30 items have arrived in Moscow, which demonstrate a variety of stylistics and jewelry techniques. The jewelry was created in the brand's workshops from 1920 to 1990. The 1944 ring and the 1981 Everest necklace are examples of the signature invisible setting patented by Van Cleef & Arpels in 1933.
At the exhibition you can see a lot of cute animalistic brooches in the form of a tiger, bull, dogs. These cute pieces from the La Boutique line began to be created in the 1960s, and they quickly became popular due to their affordable prices. Iconic items include the 1939 Ludo hexagon flexible cuff, the first to appear in 1935, and the large Rose de Noel flower brooches in 1970s coral.
In addition to jewelry, precious evening handbags and minaudiers inlaid with colored stones were brought to Moscow.
