Both presidents are criticized with enviable regularity for their appearance and inability to choose the right suit. Petro Poroshenko, for example, is reproached for the fact that he often comes to meetings in crumpled jackets and trousers, chooses baggy suits, and at a meeting with Barack Obama in 2016 he appeared in dirty shoes. Little is known about which brands the Ukrainian president prefers. We can assume that Poroshenko loves Louis Vuitton clothes - once he was seen wearing a sweater of this brand.

Donald Trump is a regular guest on the list of the most badly dressed men. Although he prefers Brioni suits, the quality and cut of which is beyond doubt, he buys exclusively ready-made models that do not correspond to the parameters of his figure. In his book Trump: Think Like a Billionaire, he writes that tailor-made suits can only be chosen by men with ideal physiques and free time.

The President of the United States, indeed, does not have the most simple figure - a properly selected jacket and trousers could do him good, hiding some of the flaws in his physique. Moreover, fashion experts note that Trump's jackets are clearly undergoing changes. They say the president wears shoulder pads, and this detail is unusual for Brioni. It is believed that Trump's taste was formed in the 1980s, when wide-shouldered jackets were at the peak of popularity, and since then he has not wanted to change anything.

In addition to Brioni, the president's wardrobe contains suits that he orders from Martin Greenfield's studio in Brooklyn (by the way, Barack Obama also addressed this tailor). As for shirts, here Trump also remains faithful to Brioni, but prefers ties from Hermès and Armani.

So, what's wrong with the suits Trump and Poroshenko wore to yesterday's meeting.

- one -

When ordering suits, the presidents clearly did not take into account their physiological characteristics. The asymmetry inherent in any figure, shoulder width, waist and other important aspects are completely ignored here. Costumes "cut" the figures, distorting proportions. Presidents look shorter and fuller. Both leaders should have put on trousers of the correct length, which would reach the middle of the heel, and not “fall” on the shoes in an untidy accordion. The leg width should be about 21-22 cm.

- 2 -

The sleeves of the shirt should look half a centimeter out from under the jacket, and in the photo we see huge cuffs, due to which the presidents' hands seem small. Moreover, Petro Poroshenko has only one sleeve visible.

In an interview with Le Figaro, Petro Poroshenko noted that he really likes the style of Emmanuel Macron. We would recommend the Ukrainian president to contact the stylists of his French colleague.

The tie should reach the middle of the belt buckle, not too wide, and the knot too large. It looks old-fashioned.

But it is impossible to find fault with the images of the first ladies. Both Melania Trump and Marina Poroshenko look great, albeit a little gloomy due to the black color.>
