The first Railmaster models were intended for railway employees. High-tech by the standards of the time, the watch withstood the influence of magnetic fields up to 1000 gauss, which guaranteed optimal accuracy. Modern watches equipped with the Master Chronometer movement are 15 times more resistant to magnetic fields.

Not so little is known for certain about the Mare Nostrum watch. The prototype of the very first Officine Panerai chronograph was released in 1943 by order of the Italian government and was intended for the watch officers of the Royal Navy. However, the watch was never put into production. The 1993 model, which was created based on rare wartime documentary evidence, largely served as an inspiration for the last reissue of the chronograph in 2017.

In 1919, the Vacheron Constantin manufactory released an unusual watch. The cushion-shaped case was inscribed with a round dial, slightly turned counterclockwise. As a result, the crown ended up in the upper left corner, where the 11 o'clock position was traditionally located. 12 copies of those watches were intended for the American market. A couple of years later a new version appeared, with the dial turned clockwise, so that the crown moved to the upper right corner. In this form, the watch was reissued in 2009, and in 2017 a miniature version with a diameter of 36.5 mm appeared.

In 1916, Tissot produced the Banana men's wristwatch - the curved profile of the 14-karat gold case resembled a banana. The model was sold to Russia. In August 1917, the owner sent his watch to Switzerland for repair, but due to the revolution, they were not destined to return. In memory of that trip from Russia to Le Locle, an almost exact copy of the Heritage Banana Centenary Edition appeared.

Nautilus is a genius invention of Gerald Genta. The designer proposed a water-resistant hull structure with a rim, reminiscent of the way the windows are mounted on sea vessels. The sporty steel watch had a metal bracelet, the links of which became shorter as they got closer to the clasp. The cost of the watch was 3000 Swiss francs - at that time, for that kind of money, you could buy a good gold watch.

Introduced in 1955, the GMT-Master was designed for international airline pilots who wanted to know the time quickly in different time zones. The model has become the official watch standard for many airlines, including the American Pan Am. The time of the second hour zone is indicated by a 24-hour hand on a scale, which is applied to a rotating bezel made of heavy-duty ceramic Cerachrom (its production takes up to 40 hours).
