Kate Moss x Messika

Kate Moss has long known the founder of the French jewelry brand Valerie Messica. In 2019, she starred in an advertising campaign for Messika, where she posed for the Lucky Move mascots. Today Kate acts as Valerie's full partner - the girls worked together on the design of the new high jewelry collection Messika by Kate Moss. She was inspired by the very jewelry style of the British supermodel - bold, free and eclectic. Kate's personal collection includes things in the spirit of Victorian England and Art Deco, Indian-style jewelry and a lot of vintage.

Messika by Kate Moss includes about 100 pieces of jewelry: ear cuffs, multi-finger rings, bracelets on the arm and leg, sautoirs, nose jewelry and tiaras. Long tassels of gold and diamonds are used to decorate the ring, earrings, ankle bracelet and a long necklace that can be tied like a scarf. Ethnic motifs are embodied in malachite and yellow gold - this set features a three-finger ring, large earrings and a choker.

Moss interpreted Messick's signature technique of rimless diamonds in her own way. Thin, almost invisible golden rods connect gems of different cuts into light, geometric Art Deco designs - from afar, they resemble diamond tattoos applied directly to the skin. The same technique is used in jewelry similar to sparkling plumage - an asymmetric plastron necklace and large ear cuffs. At the same time, any ultra-fashionable thing “for every day” - be it a minimalistic diamond knot or a rich necklace with large diamonds, a graphic choker or a hair accessory that perfectly wraps around the head - is made according to all the canons of high jewelry art.

“It had to happen,” smiles Valerie Messica, talking about the collaboration with the Moss designer.

Kate Moss filled every item on the catwalk with her own style and freedom - now they can be felt in Messika by Kate Moss jewelry.

Marion Cotillard x Chopard

French actress, active participant in environmental initiatives, has been working with Chopard since 2013. It was then that she first wore jewels from her debut Green Carpet collection on the red carpet in Cannes. Crafted from ethically sourced gold and diamonds, mined in an environmentally and socially responsible manner, the jewelery pieces are part of the Journey to Responsible Luxury program, which Chopard is partnering with Eco-Age Libya Firth.

In 2015, Marion Cotillard tried her hand at jewelry design and came up with a wide bracelet with black Australian opals.

In 2020, the Oscar-winning actress, along with the jewelry house, presents Ice Cube Capsule by Marion Cotillard. Cotillard has designed seven Haute Joaillerie jewelery in Fairmined yellow ethical gold and diamonds that meet the most stringent international criteria. Under her supervision, a ring and six earrings were made at the Haute Joaillerie Chopard workshops.

Jewelry can be worn in many different ways. For example, in the upper part of the ear, fasten two gold rings (they are made in the form of clips), below - another one with a diamond, and on the earlobe put on a stud with a princess-cut solitaire diamond - its square shape is inspired by the faceted gold Ice Cube cubes. Or pair a stud with a cascade of princess-cut diamonds of various sizes in a thin gold setting - their total weight exceeds 17 carats. In the ring, a 1.52-carat princess diamond is set between two thin Ice Cube square-cut rings.

“Chopard has followed my career since my film debut, and with Caroline Scheufele we have a strong ethical stance. New collaboration is a very good way to strengthen the bonds that bind us, "commented the actress.
