Tim Walker shoots new Louis Vuitton ad campaign
Louis Vuitton has unveiled an ad campaign for the fall-winter 2020/21 men's collection. The main storyteller of the fashion industry, the legendary British photographer Tim Walker, was invited to shoot her. He used an ultra-wide-angle lens, which helped to emphasize the surrealism of what is happening in the frame: the models seem to float through the sky, which symbolizes the utopian idea of freedom and peace. Previously, the cloud print was used as the basis for the scenery of the autumn-winter show of the French brand, as well as the design of several items from the collection. These are bomber, pullover, trousers, Keepall and SoftTrunk bags that are already on sale.

Doucal's started building a craft library
Some models of the Italian shoe brand Doucal's require up to 96 manual operations to produce. To preserve the secrets of the craft, educate young artisans, reduce the likelihood of errors and optimize production in general, the company launched Doucal's 4.0. Its goal is to record the process of making shoes using high-tech devices: for example, smart glasses equipped with a micro-camera. They will record every step of the Doucal's craftsmen during the various stages of the shoe assembly. The videos will be transmitted to a computer, which, using artificial intelligence, will analyze the repeatability of operations and combine all information to standardize the production process.

Miu Miu presented the Miu Belle bag
Miu Miu showed the debutante of the autumn-winter season - the Miu Belle bag in Matelassé leather. The voluminous texture, which has long become a recognizable element of the Italian brand, emphasizes the connection between tradition and innovation: leather details are first combined with filler and elastic fabric and only then stitched. A bag with Matelassé technology requires approximately 60% more leather than a regular bag of the same size. At the same time, the accessory remains comfortable and lightweight, as well as elastic - the bag can be easily stretched, adapting to the size of the contents.
