Samsung held the second part of the Galaxy Unpacked presentation on September 1, detailing the new generation of gadgets announced during the first part of the presentation in August.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 Smartphone
The South Korean company divided the presentation of the Fold series into two parts. In the first, some intriguing details were announced: glass thinner than a human hair (used in the Galaxy Z Flip) and a cam joint that allows you to fix the position of half of the main screen in the range of angles 75-115 degrees. When folded, the smartphone has become thinner, and the additional screen now takes up more vertical space. Also, the dual front camera was replaced with a single 10MP module, like in the Note 20, which contributed to the increase of the dual Super Amoled display to 7.6 inches diagonally when unfolded. To protect the hinges of the screen from dust, sand and the like, the company's engineers decided to resort to a non-trivial method and place a carbon-nylon brush in the case - like in vacuum cleaners, only shorter.
During the second presentation, details about the new product were added: the Z Fold2 was equipped with a fingerprint scanner built into the power button on the side. If the owner prefers to unlock the face lock, the device will prompt him to change the settings. The smartphone has 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory, a slot for wired charging with a capacity of 25 W, while it supports wireless charging and is able to share energy with headphones and watches without additional wires.
The novelty is presented in only two colors: Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze (black and bronze). Anyone who wants to bring more color to the model has the opportunity to customize the left side panel of the smartphone. You can decorate your personal Z Fold2 in silver, gold or blue.
The smartphone will go on sale in Russia in black and bronze colors on September 18 at a price of 179,990 rubles. Pre-orders are accepted from September 1 in official stores and stores of brand partners.
In conclusion, Samsung presented another version of the foldable smartphone, which was the result of cooperation with fashion designer Tom Brown - Galaxy Z Fold2 Thom Browne Edition. The model will be released later.

Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra smartphones
The new generation of Note turned out to be quite similar to the S20 series: smartphones are based on the Exynos 990 processor, which by today's standards is quite enough for both everyday use and for work or demanding games. The smoothness of the picture in the Note 20 Ultra is provided by an AMOLED display with a frequency of 120 Hz with a diagonal of 6.9 inches, in the younger model there is a screen of 6.7 inches (60 Hz). The autonomy of the devices is provided by 4500 and 4300 mAh batteries in the senior and junior models, respectively: the company said that both smartphones are capable of working all day in "typical" conditions of use, and fast charging technology (25 W) provides 50% of the volume in half an hour at the outlet.

But there are differences. The design of the Note 20 Ultra is stricter: there are less rounded corners, the body of the older model is more practical, since the back cover is covered with tempered glass. The regular Note 20 has reinforced polycarbonate. However, the main difference lies in the triple main camera of the smartphone. In the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, it has a resolution of 108 MP, optical zoom and laser autofocus, while the Note 20 has a more modest 64 MP module and hybrid zoom. This means that the quality of the final image will be distinguishable, and thanks to the laser autofocus, the Note 20 Ultra will focus on subjects faster, including in the dark.

Galaxy S-pen stylus
Special attention should be paid to the new generation of the S-pen stylus, which is traditionally placed inside the device body. This time, engineers have reduced the delay between touching the screen and displaying lines. For the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, that time is 9ms, which brings the stylus much closer to traditional writing on paper. This effect was achieved due to predictive artificial intelligence (AI-based Point Prediction) and the 120 Hz screen of the smartphone itself. In the rest of the functionality, the stylus repeats previous models - it can also adjust the sound and switch presentation slides in the same way.

Galaxy Tab S7 and S7 +
Samsung's next-generation tablets boast a thin and light design, powerful hardware powered by the Snapdragon 865 Plus processor, and AKG stereo sound and Dolby Atmos. The 2K screen has a refresh rate of 120 Hz. As with the Note 20, it comes with an S Pen.
The two versions of the tablet differ in size: 11 inches of the LCD screen in the younger versus 12.4 inches of Super AMOLED in the S7 +. Batteries differ too (8000 versus 10,090 mAh), as well as feature sets like support for a removable keyboard cover sold separately from the tablet.
Tablets are positioned, on the one hand, as devices for work, on the other, as gaming devices. For this versatility, Samsung has formed an alliance with Microsoft and several other developers. For example, the package includes a free subscription to the design software Canva Pro for a month and six months of subscription to the art software Clip Studio Paint Ex, which is coming to Android for the first time. In terms of gaming, the tablets, like the Note 20, will support the Xbox cloud gaming service with a subscription to the Xbox Game pass Ultimate, which will be available in the Samsung Galaxy Store from September 15th.

Galaxy Buds Live Headphones
The presentation was not without true wireless headphones, which received a new unusual form factor that looks like a kidney or a bean. The shape of Samsung Galaxy Buds Live repeats the structure of the auricle, which, according to the idea, should ensure a snug fit of the earphone to the ear and long-term comfortable listening. What is important: active noise cancellation appeared, which cuts off external noise by 97%, a triple microphone, which, together with a bone conduction sensor, can easily pick up a voice during a conversation, and an audio system from AKG, which includes a 12 mm speaker and a bass channel for amplifying low frequencies. The charging case, as befits top-end headphones, supports wireless charging with Samsung PowerShare technology for power from a smartphone. In listening mode, a single charge of the headphones will last up to six hours with the noise reduction turned on, and together with the case - up to 21 hours.

Galaxy Watch 3
The "smart" Galaxy Watch 3 does not bring any special innovations - the functionality is already familiar in many ways, although the bezel that can be controlled by the watch is still original. Otherwise, there is a set familiar to the flagship model: sleep, heart rate, blood oxygen sensors, NFC with support for Samsung Pay. But in terms of software, in addition to actively interacting with other supported Samsung devices, a user-friendly, customizable interface awaits the user. The watch faces store, according to the company, has over 80,000 different options, such as live wallpapers with weather or health monitoring. So far, ECG functions and blood oxygen measurements are not available in the Russian Federation, however, with the receipt of the certificate, Samsung promises to add them in the next software updates.

Samsung's new ecosystem
The main news of the Galaxy Unpacked presentation is that the Samsung ecosystem is becoming more important than hardware. This is supported by the support of Microsoft and other developers, there are significant solutions for work, leisure and entertainment. The main feature of this alliance was the ability to run Android applications on Windows 10 and full synchronization of Samsung devices with Microsoft services such as To Do, OutLook, PowerPoint. Tab S7 tablets can be used as a second screen when working with a device running Windows 10.
The exclusive relationship between Samsung devices has not been forgotten either. For example, Note 20 smartphones can be entered into Samsung Dex mode and connected to a smart TV. In this mode, the device not only duplicates the picture, but becomes a full-fledged workspace, a convenient interface for a large screen. The smartphone itself will have touchpad functions, and if you enable Dex mode on the Tab S7 tablets, then a full-fledged desktop will be both on the tablet and on another screen.
If we talk about accessories, then there is the ability to connect several pairs of headphones to one smartphone. Also, when recording video in Pro Video mode, you can record sound from the Buds Live triple microphone - an extremely useful feature, for example, when recording your guitar playing. And the Watch 3 can be connected not only to a smartphone, but also to a smart TV, and can also be used for daily workouts.
These and many other solutions tightly link Samsung devices to form a resilient Galaxy ecosystem.>
