New boutiques
The Vremena Goda gallery in the capital now houses a mono-boutique of the Italian brand Emporio Armani, which presents a full range of men's and women's collections of clothing and accessories, including watches, glasses and fragrances. The interior design ideas for boutiques around the world are by Giorgio Armani. A lover of elegance and conciseness, together with a team of architects, he conceived to make the space as convenient as possible and to design it in the corporate style of the brand. The emphasis is on pleasant color combinations: the light wood floor contrasts with the black ceiling with light islands and white walls. The boutique is especially proud of its unusual colored lighting.

In St. Petersburg, at the Au Pont Rouge department store, three corners of French designers have opened at once: Sandro, Maje and Claudie Pierlot. The first, created by Evelyn and Judith Milgrom in 2004, is linked to the sisters' Moroccan past and imbued with their romantic mood. The new Sandro collection tells the story of a Parisian woman who spent the summer under the hot Texas sun and returned to autumn Paris, where she wanders through her favorite streets in a cozy knit dress and a leather jacket.

The Maje brand appeared in the mid-2000s when one of the sisters left the Sandro brand. The new brainchild of Judith Milgrom embodies a bohemian style, full of flying layered silhouettes, feminine details and unusual combinations of textures. The brand's latest collection is inspired by the streets of London and is replete with punk references. Attention is drawn to the tartan cage, the abundance of black, the play with shades of red and green, leather inserts and characteristic massive details. Despite the rebellious spirit, the collection contains many things for the urban wardrobe: oversized coats and fitted jackets, trousers and pencil skirts.

The Claudie Pierlot brand appeared in the mid-80s thanks to the stylist Claudie Perlot and her assistant René Deri, who combined simplicity, elegance, lightness and romance in their models - everything that the Parisian style is famous for. The brand's collections are dominated by high-quality fabrics, comfortable cut and unusual finishes. New for this season: tweed coats for men, reversible down jackets, soft embroidered jumpers and floral blouses, plaid skirts and chunky leather ankle boots. The main focus of the collection is the combination of several patterns. For example, a skirt and blouse made of thin chiffon are decorated with three animalistic motifs.

The architect's works completely lacked straight lines, which he called "the tools of the devil." The installation was created at the initiative of the Freywille brand, which dedicated a collection of jewelry to Hundertwasser. In addition to curly painted columns, spirals, as well as the artist's favorite symbol of life and a reproduction of the most famous painting "Irinaland beyond the Balkans", the installation harmoniously includes the brand's jewelry from the "Magic Garden" and "Imperial" lines. The art object will be on display until the end of October.

Michael Kors' Watch Hunger Stop charity project has been supporting the World Food Program and its school feeding project for the seventh year. In 2018, the organization managed to provide 18 million children in 60 countries. Selling special and limited products from a popular brand is one of the most effective ways to raise funds for the Watch Hunger Stop project. This year, the project's ambassador is Lupita Nyong'o, Oscar winner, author of the children's book Sulwe, an active defender of women's rights, a supporter of wildlife conservation, and the global ambassador of WildAid. “Lupita is smart and talented, compassionate and strong,” comments designer Michael Kors. - She has the ability to inspire other people by her example. I am very glad that she joined our charity project."

The main theme of the Watch Hunger Stop campaign was the slogan “Food is love”. The designer played the word "love" on the tote bag and T-shirt. Both items can be purchased online, as well as at select Michael Kors stores around the world. The proceeds from the sale of limited items will go to support the school feeding program. Also during October, customers can make a donation directly to the World Food Program at several of the brand's stores by contacting sellers.

“Recycling is not just an upward trend, but an important mission related to our future and rethinking consumption patterns,” says Pokras Lampas. “When recycle tells us to recycle matter down to its base from which new products can be created, upcycle manifests the creative transformation of unwanted items into art, household products, accessories and clothing.”
