The famous Cartier panther appeared on watch dials in different guises: in the form of an enamel miniature and a relief of tiny gold granules, with a filigree or damascene profile. This time, the spotted predator appeared in the new flamed gold technique. The inspiration for her was the process of bluing gold hour hands by calcining them on fire. At a higher temperature, a blue gamut is formed, a cold flame gives a silvery-beige color. The gold dial engraved with a panther is fired several times to create a natural color transition from beige to brown. “We never use a new decorative technique just to expand our artistic arsenal. Each technique must match the style and image of the brandCartier,”explained Pierre Rainero, Director of Image and Heritage at Cartier. The white gold case is lined with baguette diamonds along the rim, and the manual movement of the "apple" hands is controlled by the manual caliber 430 MC. The watch is released in a limited edition of 30 pieces.
