The traditional autumn watch auction Sotheby's will be held in Hong Kong Expo Center (Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Exhibitions Centre). They will feature a total of almost 300 lots, whose total estimate ranges from $ 5-7 million. As in most modern auctions, the highest expectations of bidders and collectors are associated with unique copies of Patek Philippe. At the upcoming auction, two models will be exhibited, made by the masters of an independent Swiss manufactory. Up to half a million dollars is planned for a watch with a perpetual calendar, minute repeater and retrograde date indicator in a platinum barrel (Ref 5013P 2004). The watch classics are presented by the respected brand from Saxony A. Lange & Söhne - a rare Cabaret Tourbillon in a rectangular platinum case with a tourbillon and a movement that stops the seconds. The approximate estimate of this watch is $ 150 thousand.

Responsible for the watchmaking avant-garde is Richard Mill and his 2014 skeleton diving model with tourbillon, chronograph, power reserve and torque indicator. The sophisticated caliber RM025 in a carbon composite and titanium case is tentatively estimated at $ 200,000.
