Anniversary of the day -
Lange 1 "25 th Anniversary", A. Lange & Söhne
The Lange 1 - the first watch in the modern history of the Saxon manufacture - appeared exactly 25 years ago. In the mid-1990s, the large date display and the asymmetrical structure of the dial were controversial, however, the watch brought the A. Lange & Söhne brand back to worldwide fame.

A quarter of a century later, little has changed in their appearance (the jubilee model retained the blue markings on the silver dial), but the caliber has become more precise and perfect. Each of the 250 pieces of the Lange 1 "25 th Anniversary" has a white gold opening caseback engraved with the Lange headquarters building and the names of the founding fathers Walter Lange and Günther Blumlein.
Collection of the day -
Spitfire, IWC
One of the lines of the updated collection of IWC aviator watches bears the name of the British Spitfire fighter jet, incredibly fast and maneuverable - the image of the aircraft adorns the case back. Each of the seven references is equipped with an in-house caliber entirely designed and assembled in Schaffhausen. At the same time, the automatic three-hand Pilot's Watch Automatic Spitfire and the Pilot's Watch Chronograph Spitfire are released both in steel with a black dial and in bronze with an olive dial. The model with the World Time function Timezoner (the time zone is switched by turning the bezel with the names of 24 cities) is presented only in the steel version, and the perpetual calendar only in the noble bronze version.

Collaboration of the Day -
Hermès and Ini Archibong
Designer Ini Archibong (born in Los Angeles to a family of immigrants from Nigeria) is the author of the new line of Galop d'Hermès. The starting point was the bit and other parts of the horse ammunition. The shape of the Galop d'Hermès case in steel or rose gold resembles a stirrup, the same silhouette is read in the shape of a figure eight, one of the hour markers.

For his watch, Archibong invented a special font in the spirit of Art Deco, in which the numbers go up, creating a kind of perspective: from small oblong 1, 2, 3 to a larger six. The crown is located unusually, in the “six o'clock” position.

The bronze case has been exciting the emotions of watchmakers and collectors for several seasons. Over time, this material becomes covered with a patina and the watch acquires a special, unique charm. Montblanc, IWC and Speake-Marin worked especially closely with bronze.>
