“ Piaget has always been good at sparkling diamonds for exciting parties,” says Jean-Bernard Forot, Head of Jewelry Design. Indeed, in the history of the brand there have been many collections that somehow reveal the theme of a summer holiday - a light, carefree pool party on a warm evening. Let us recall the playful sautoirs of Limelight Gala, rings in the form of cocktails with precious fruits, bright pendants with Limelight Garden Party flowers. The new Sunny Side of Life collection has absorbed the shades of sunny summer and good mood. And the 60-70s, the era of Piaget's unprecedented creative upsurge, prompted not only the color scheme of new jewelry, but also some traditional execution techniques.

The signature palace décor engraving adds even more sparkle to the rose gold details of the Sunny Getaway Sun Necklace or Sunny Crush Necklace. On the cuff watch, a relief pattern completely covers the gold dial and wide bracelet. Brand Piaget is known for his skill in creating a flexible bracelet jewelry. This year, the arsenal of the house was supplemented by the archival technique of weaving gold mesh: each round link-ring is divided by an inner partition into two oval leaves, some of them are trimmed with marquise-cut diamonds. This type of weave is found in the watch bracelet and sautoir with the Sunny Reflections jewelry dial. The "sunny" part in the collection is performed by yellow diamonds (the largest of which weighs more than 7 carats), spessartines, yellow sapphires and beryls.

In the Sunny Side of Life jewelry collection, three more color pieces stand out. Poolside's decorations are dedicated to the clear blue pools in Palm Beach villas. These shades are conveyed by lapis lazuli (in the wide bracelet and Deep Blue earrings), cabochons of blue and green Brazilian tourmalines in the Dive Into Summer necklace, as well as tanzanites, Australian opals and now rare Paraiba tourmalines. The Lush Nature series combines pink flamingos (Madagascar pink sapphires are responsible for this color) and evergreens - shades of tropical green are assigned to emeralds. The Palm Sensation necklace is adorned with two pear-shaped Colombian stones weighing 7.17 and 4.35 carats. A palm branch with emerald and diamond leaves frames the oval case of the Palm Society watch. Palm El Dorado combines green tourmalines and emeralds with a wide leaf motif set in rose gold with palace décor engraving and diamonds. Each of the color series features wide feather bracelets: Piaget continues to collaborate with an outstanding French marquetry master Nelly Saunier.
