If I make a list of the groups whose concerts I did not get to simply because I did not know about them, then it will be almost half of this article long. It is unlikely that my case is unique: it is not so difficult to miss the performance of even a well-known group - only if you do not monitor the poster of all the artists who come to your city every month. So the Bandsintown app is a real panacea and almost an ideal organizer for your musical entertainment.

The app first detects where you are. It then scans your Apple Music or Spotify library and informs frequently listened artists of upcoming concerts. The selection also includes artists that are similar in sound or close in genre. Every time a band or artist announces that they will play in your city, the app will notify you.
You can manually add new names to the list of tracked musicians: each band has its own page with the schedule of concerts. So, if you really want to see someone, but the artist is in no hurry to appear in your vicinity, you can see the dates of his performances in other countries and try to get there. Moreover, you can buy tickets inside the application.
The second useful function is the ability to indicate any city on the map and see who, when and where is playing there. Bandsintown gives out all scheduled performances for a specific date - even in small, local clubs. Popular ensembles, of course, are at the top of the list. It will take you about a minute to scroll through the list of everyone who plays in London on December 6th. So Bandsintown will not let you miss the performance of your favorite band, not only at home, but also at a party. The application is available in the AppStore and PlayMarket for free.>
