New smartphone creator of Android Andy Rubin, Essential Phone, slowly begins to get to the first customers who left him for pre-order. But the reporters of the largest Western publications have already had a chance to test the new product, and therefore the first reviews of one of the most unusual phones of the season appeared on the network.
All experts agree on one thing: Essential Phone is one of the most distinctive and beautiful smartphones in the world. The device was especially liked by The Verge columnist Dieter Bohn, who noted the frameless design and called the Rubin's aesthetics the best of everything that came out over the past year. The only thing is that the body of the device is quickly covered with fingerprints.
According to PC Mag's Sasha Segan, the Essential Phone's display is very good - but falls short of the LG G6 and Samsung Galaxy S8 in terms of brightness and color reproduction.
However, the weakest point of the device is the camera. David Pearce of The Wired called it "absurdly slow," and Chris Velasco of Engadget concluded that while the Essential Phone can still produce a really good picture during the day, it seriously degrades at night. Dieter Bon also echoes Velasco - in his opinion, the optics in the smartphone do not reach the flagship level.
Overall, the Essential Phone is a good Android smartphone. None of the journalists complained about the performance, with the battery life, the device is also in perfect order, as well as with the design and build quality. However, the promised revolution has not yet happened.
Intel introduced a new generation of processors
Intel's processor line is updated every year - it's time for 2017. This time, however, the company did a little strange: we will see a full-fledged update, Coffee Lake, only in the fall, but for now, updated last year's "mobile" models are being prepared for release. Intel itself calls the new generation of chips "Kaby Lake Refreshed" and claims that the performance gain will be up to 40%. Considering that we are talking about processors for laptops and ultrabooks, the numbers can be called really impressive. What does all this mean for us? If you are planning to buy a laptop for yourself in the near future, you should be patient a little and wait for the release of laptops on the new Intel processors.- their name must contain the number "8" (for example, Core i5 8600U, and so on). In this case, you will not lose much money in money, but you will gain significantly in computer power.
We will see full-fledged desktop processors based on the new architecture only in a few months.

It was this ship that once delivered the world's first atomic bomb to the airport on the island of Tinian, which was then dropped on Hiroshima.
