In fact, the new feed is a reworked Google Now that appeared in Android 4.4. This functionality is also available to iPhone owners - for this you need to download the Google application from the AppStore to your smartphone.
The principle of operation has remained the same: the program remembers what topics you have been interested in recently, and based on your search queries, it forms a feed from relevant content. Previously, everything was limited to selected news and articles on the topic, but now YouTube videos will also be available.
For example, if you enjoy Stranger Things and have recently checked with Google when Season 2 kicks off, the app will prompt you to read interviews with the show's actors or writers, and also suggest you watch a trailer. If you are an avid football fan, the program will regularly collect information on the results of the latest matches of your favorite team and search the net for scoring goals and dangerous moments.
In addition, users can now manually add topics that are important to them to the list, as well as remove them from the lists of interesting with one button - now both processes occur automatically, and the application, for example, can still send you articles about the iPhone 7 that worried you six months ago.
According to representatives of Google, on the same event, the program will offer several points of view, including the opposite, in order to provide the user with the widest possible range of opinions. There will be no ads in the feed yet.
Updated news feed is now available in the US iPhone and smartphones based on Android for free, and to other countries, it is "sunk" in the next few weeks.>
