On September 5, the Italian company Zegna unveiled in New York a new round of brand development in the 21st century, which is dedicated to masculinity and sustainable production. The guests, among whom were Irina Shayk, Victor Cruz, Benjamin Millepieu, together with the brand designer Alessandro Satori and the face of the advertising campaign Mahershala Ali, talked about masculinity and discussed the manifesto "What Makes a Man". It says that masculinity is a state of mind, and not a set of outdated rules about strictness, closeness and avarice of feelings. A modern man knows how to love, is not afraid of failures and risks, dreams, enjoys life and fantasizes, fights for freedom and beliefs.

For its 110 years, the Ermenegildo Zegna company has always subtly felt global changes in the world and has created classic and modern clothes for different generations of men. Mahershala Ali, two-time Oscar winner for Moonlight and Green Book, is the ambassador for the new fall-winter 2019/20 campaign. The heroes of the shooting were also the Chinese actor, musician and composer Nicholas Tse (winner of the World Music Awards and Asian Film Award) and the young tennis player Alexander Zverev (finalist of the French Open, winner of the Australian Open among youths).
All the heroes of the advertising campaign starred in Zegna jackets, jackets and trousers, some of which are made from recycled materials. The company has also released #whatmakesaman T-shirts that will be donated to an international educational charity.>
