For several years now, the king of beasts has been a real Chanel precious totem. The first high collection Sous le Signe de Lion ("Under the sign of the lion") appeared in 2013. Since then, the image of the lion - the zodiac symbol, the heavenly patron of Venice, the owner of the golden regal mane - has been repeatedly embodied in ceremonial necklaces and pendants on a chain, rings and brooches, bracelets and jewelry watches. The latest update introduces two lines - Lion Antique and Lion Protecteur. The antique theme is revealed by jewelry made of yellow gold: a necklace with medallions, a wide ring and a cuff bracelet with a relief image of a lion.

Expressive sculptures in yellow metal are complemented by the shine of colorless diamonds. The Guardian Lion is a proud profile with a predatory grin in white or yellow gold with diamonds on rings, pendant earrings and a necklace with Japanese pearls. Another unique piece of the new series is the Lion Birman ring with a magnificent 8.7 carat pillow-cut Burmese ruby.
