At the Web Summit, held in Lisbon on November 4-7, the Cappasity team presented a platform for creating and integrating content in 3D and AR (augmented reality) into online stores. The second development was a data analysis service for predicting the likelihood of a purchase by observing how the user interacts with 3D images of goods.

Marketing research shows that luxury brands will invest up to $ 13 million in technology by 2025. The Cappasity platform intends to be directly involved in the development of immersive shopping, 3D visualization of goods and analytics for creating personalized offers. The company already has clients in France and other European cities, so in 2020 Cappasity opens its first office in Paris.

“Paris is the world capital of luxury retail. By opening an office here, we want to be closer to our European clients and respond promptly to the growing demand of luxury brands for our product,”emphasizes Konstantin Popov, CEO of Cappasity.

The startup originated in 2013 in California with a start-up capital of $ 350 thousand, two years later the company attracted another $ 700 thousand in investments. The company entered the market in 2017. Cappasity's clients include TsUM, Guerin, Samsonite, Aizel, American Greetings, Jazmín Chebar, Claris Virot and others.>
