Lightweight and durable carbon fiber composite, from which cases, bezels and other details of future watches are machined, has a layered structure. Moreover, each fragment has its own unique pattern of many shades of gray. Carbon rush kicked off with the iconic square chronograph TAG Heuer Monaco, one of the sensations at the 2018 Basel Show. The model was developed in conjunction with the British company Bamford Watch Department, which specializes in custom orders for major watch brands. Housed in a gleaming matte square of the case is a black opaline dial with vibrant AquaBlue details, concealing an automatic caliber 11 underneath.

The next in time was the updated Aquaracer sports watch series. Three new models received a titanium case with a PVD coating sealed up to 300 meters, and the bezel itself was made of carbon. The diving scale technology involves the injection of carbon fibers into rubber pressed at a high temperature, resulting in a unique surface pattern that mimics gray marble.

The crystal pattern "carbon fiber" on the dial is embossed. Against this dark matte background, each Aquaracer has its own color accents - blue, yellow and rose gold. The automatic TAG Heuer caliber 5 operates with three hands and a date display.
At the end of November, the premiere of the Carrera carbon collection took place, which symbolizes the connection of the watch brand with the world of auto racing. Three models appeared in a new version. The TAG Heuer Carrera Carbon Tourbillon Phantom Automatic Tourbillon Chronograph has been named "Phantom" for its deep black color. The 45mm case is made of PVD-coated titanium, while the tachymeter bezel and even the lugs are made of carbon fiber.

The details of the skeletonized dial, including the tourbillon carriage, also have a black finish. The Heuer 02 series is limited to 500 pieces, but the watch is available in the TAG Heuer boutique in Moscow. There are two more steel models in the TAG Heuer Carrera Carbon range. The carbon bezel is combined with details in pink gold (350 pieces in the series) and blue rhodium (750 pieces).>
