I don’t want to write that gray is the new black, and even more so to humor about fifty shades, but it’s like this: at the last Haute Couture Week, this seemingly not festive color was in favor. Dior and Chanel set the tone in every sense: Maria Grazia Chiuri launched a traveler from the middle of the last century on the catwalk, Karl Lagerfeld - a Parisian from the beginning; Silhouettes of two different eras have combined an elegant "mouse" shade, which is probably already in your wardrobe, and now received a carte blanche from Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne.

Laying organza, chiffon and other lightweight fabrics in neat layers is the domain of the couturier. But this does not mean that the place for "trick" is only in high fashion. The best way to adapt the trend, and at the same time to lower the degree of haute couture, is to choose not a dress, but a skirt, and not to the floor, but just below the knee (you will not have to drown in ruffles), and wear it with a white T-shirt and sneakers.

Dress on one shoulder
Yves Saint Laurent was once considered a master of asymmetry, and just a few seasons ago Anthony Vaccarello popularized her again in his debut collection for Saint Laurent - and stores do not experience a shortage of such dresses now. True, in order to keep up with haute couture, you will have to look for an option with a decor - be it a lush bow, a flower, or even something completely abstract (without these touching details, couture would not be couture!).

Contrary to popular beliefs, it is quite a convenient thing that gives unlimited scope for imagination: you can feel like a royal, even a superhero. Special thanks to Pierpaolo Piccioli for the tip: if not for him, we might have lived in the grip of the stereotype that a cape is a faithful companion exclusively to evening dresses; but in the Italian's new collection for Valentino, heavily influenced by sporty chic, capes are worn even with athleisure outfits. What? This is at least comfortable: consider a coat and a blanket in one bottle.

The designers continue their "hand" games. Next in line is the transformer option (if you want - wear it, you want - not), reminiscent of the once popular mitts. One condition: such sleeves must necessarily echo alongside; ideally, to look as if they were simply cut off from a dress, coat or top.
