Aster Chevron is the company's first smartphone with a fabric finish. Vertu products typically use expensive leather, and other materials are only available through a custom phone service. The name of the new line comes from the term "chevron" - this is how the unique ornament on Italian fabrics is called. The texture material for the smartphone was created in collaboration with leading Italian manufacturers.

According to CEO Gordon Watson, potential buyers of Aster Chevron are those looking for an alternative to leather for ethical reasons and those who would like to get Vertu at a more affordable price. Aster Chevron has retained the key qualities of the company's smartphones (titanium case, sapphire glass screen, personalized services), but its cost starts at 293 thousand rubles, which is 100 thousand less than, for example, Signature Touch. Aster Chevron owners will traditionally have access to all Vertu services, including a six-month subscription to the Vertu Concierge Classic service.
The new smartphones are available in Russian boutiques starting June 29 in pink, blue and black.>
