The new 156-meter yacht of Alisher Usmanov is officially recognized as the most spacious in the world, Forbes reports with reference to the specialized edition Yacht Harbor. The gross tonnage of the vessel was 15,917 tons, and the total area of the interior was 3,800 sq. m. Up to 40 people can be on it at the same time. Such data was announced on June 22 by the German shipbuilding company Lurssen, which built the yacht, founded in Bremen in 1875. Thanks to this indicator, the new yacht of Alisher Usmanov overtook rivals: before that, the Al Said yachts of the Sultan of Oman Qaboos bin Said (gross tonnage of 15 850 t) and the Azzam of the family of AEO President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan (gross tonage 13 136 t).
The 156-meter yacht was designed by Espen Oeino naval architecture firm. In terms of its length, the vessel took the fourth place in the world, behind only the yachts Azzam of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan (180.6 m), Eclipse Roman Abramovich (162.5 m) and Dubai Prince of Brunei (162 m).
The yacht of Alisher Usmanov, whose fortune is estimated at $ 12.5 billion according to Forbes, got its name in honor of his mother Dilbar. The construction of the vessel was kept secret until the last, and at the shipyard the project appeared under the name Omar. The yacht is capable of a maximum speed of 42 km / h thanks to a diesel-electric power plant. It is equipped with two helipads, a cinema and an elevator.
The exact cost of Dilbar was not disclosed, but according to Forbes, it was about $ 600 million. The publication also reports that the yacht has already been delivered to the owner in the Mediterranean, where in August she will take on board the first guests.
Yacht Dilbar is not the only vessel of Alisher Usmanov. The billionaire also owns the yacht Ona (formerly also called Dilbar). The length of this vessel, which ranks 280 in the ranking of the longest yachts in the world, is 110 m.>
