The iPhone 7 ushers in the second advent of wireless audio, with a new version of the world's most popular smartphone without a traditional headphone jack. Someday this move will definitely make us happier, but today it mostly hurts our head: either enjoy the bundled EarPods with Lightning connector, or use an adapter, or buy wireless headphones. The last option, of course, is the best, but it is too expensive. A couple of not the most acoustically impressive Bluetooth "ears" are rarely asked for less than $ 100.

The boud Koreans were probably hurt by this injustice, so they went to Kickstarter with a device that turns any pair of wired headphones into wireless. And it costs only $ 25.
The Plub is a small, 12mm long box with no buttons and only one 3.5mm jack. The device turns on by itself when you insert the plug into it, and automatically connects to the nearest smartphone via Bluetooth. If the headphones have a remote control, you can use it in the same way as in the case of a direct connection to a sound source: adjust the volume, pause songs and rewind them. The Plub charge level is displayed via an LED indicator on the case.

The Plub runs for five hours and is expected to be either carried in your pocket or plugged into the headphones themselves (if they have a separate cord). However, for a small additional cost, you can purchase an optional Neck Band accessory that allows you to wear the Plub around your neck. The approach is strange only at first glance: a huge number of models of wireless headphones have the same "collar", which hides the electronics responsible for connecting to the smartphone. Moreover, Plub weighs less than ten grams, so wearing it shouldn't be heavy.

In addition, the developers promise "incredibly high quality audio" and for this purpose they have built a special dedicated processor into Plub, which will allow streaming music over Bluetooth without losing quality. You can order the Bluetooth receiver in three colors: gray, red and white.>
