The Bauhaus ideology was also noted in the USSR. In Tel Aviv, about 4 thousand buildings from the representatives of the Bauhaus have survived. "White City" is a neighborhood with snow-white buildings, which are distinguished by simple lines, flat roofs, ergonomic building materials and functional spaces. The only thing missing in these houses is the wide glazed surfaces: the heat has forced the architects to turn to techniques typical of the Middle East.

The final goal of all artistic activity is the building. The Bauhaus denotes the principles of the unity of painting, sculpture and architecture, and the building becomes its quintessence. After all, Bauhaus literally translated from German means "building house". “Architects, sculptors, painters - we all must return to crafts,” said Gropius. The elimination of class divisions was supported by the ideology of the school as fervently as the universalization of art. More precisely, the creation of a "new art" that shapes the personality and leads all of humanity to a brighter future.

The combination of theory and practice is the main principle of the Bauhaus curriculum. Students took the main course, gaining basic knowledge of shapes, colors and materials. This was followed by work in the workshops, and after the students went to construction sites. Art history was taught as late as possible so that future architects would not be tempted by stylistic borrowings.
