The Red Carpet collection is a special phenomenon in the jewelry world. It was first presented in 2007, the year of the 60th anniversary of the Cannes Film Festival. And it appeared there, in Cannes. The main partner of the festival since 1998 - Chopard - decided not to limit himself to standard marketing moves (just fill everything with your logos or dress the stars in jewelry), but to come up with something more interesting. Namely - a whole thematic collection of unique jewelry, produced every year in an amount equal to the serial number of the film show. The originality of the concept is not limited to this. The second feature of the collection is its versatility. This is not a single thematic collection, which this year, say, will be devoted to flora, and next year - to architecture. Completely different topicsstylistic techniques and materials (but all exceptionally noble) are mixed in the Red Carpet. And this decision, as Caroline Scheufele, the co-president of Chopard and head of the company's jewelry department, explains, was made because every actress on the red carpet (and every woman in the world, in fact) is a personality, each has its own style, each wants to be special. and the Red Carpet must allow self-expression.
Another characteristic feature of the collection is that all the jewelry in it is large. They should be visible on the track and catch camera flashes.

Over the years, many successful shots have been made: in 2007, the star of Indian cinema, Preity Zinta, shone in a question mark necklace with a huge emerald heart, 2008 was also an emerald year, when Dita Von Teese took to the track in a magnificent necklace with these pear-shaped stones, and Eva Herzigova, in turn, complemented the image with earrings with the rarest large emeralds of a rich tone. In 2010 - and this, incidentally, was the year of the 150th anniversary of Chopard - Helen Mirren eclipsed everyone in the diamond "question mark" necklace with 173-carat kunzite, and in 2012 Lana Del Rey struck everyone down, appearing on the path in a necklace … with diamond mice. Yes, the precious irony of the Red Carpet is also not alien at all.

The new 2017 collection continues the tradition. This time, the Red Carpet is incredibly colorful and brilliantly executed - the jewelers of the Chopard atelier decided to demonstrate all their skill and mastery of the most complex techniques. In it, as always, there are many bracelets and earrings, and it is these jewelry that are the undisputed favorites of the red carpet.

Particularly spectacular are titanium bracelets with arabesques, large earrings with a delicate floral motif (the stones are assembled in a mosaic with an extremely conditional image), rings with large precious stones … Although this "especially good" is not too fair: each of the 70 jewelry is unique and original, each - star.>
