During the presentation, Asus openly compared ZenBook 3 with its direct American competitor, reports The Verge: its screen diagonal is almost the same as that of Apple's development - 12.5 inches versus 12 for the MacBook. The thickness of the novelty is 11.9 (MacBook is 1.2 millimeters thicker). Asus also says the ZenBook 3 weighs less than any Apple laptop thanks to its new aluminum alloy.

Johnny Sheeh, chairman of Asus, called the ZenBook 3 "a blend of the best of the MacBook Air and MacBook," implying that it is twice as powerful and compact as the second.
Other features include a full-size keyboard, Gorilla Glass on the display, glass on the touchpad surface, and a fingerprint reader for Windows Hello.
The laptop will be on sale in three colors: blue, gray and (apparently, to finally secure the title of MacBook on Windows) rose gold.
