Beauty requires sacrifice - and money. Beautiful things are almost always expensive, and this also applies to smartphones. If you want a metal case and rounded glass - open your wallet. Many, however, do not consider the appearance of their phone to be important - and they have every right to do so. In the end, this is just a "dialer" with Internet access, and the main thing is that it performs its functions. But there are those who do not care at all what processor is inside their smartphone, what screen resolution it has, and that another "flagship killer" from China has appeared on Aliexpress for a third of the cost of the latest iPhone - they just want to buy a cute thing that is nice to keep in hands.
Alcatel Shine Lite is interesting in this regard: it is a very affordable smartphone by our difficult crisis standards, the creators of which relied exclusively on the visual component.
And, it seems, they hit the right audience.
Alcatel has worked seriously on the design - and it shows. The phone looks really great: a shiny glass back, an aluminum frame, nice rounded edges. The black version of the smartphone, by the way, outright wins over the white one - so feel free to take it if you have the opportunity. Maybe it's too presumptuous to compare a smartphone for 12 thousand rubles. with iPhone 7 and Galaxy S7, but it doesn't work out any other way: Shine Lite plays in the major league of the most beautiful smartphones of our time and does not look like an outsider. Even the gold inserts look appropriate here and are not at all vulgar - not like many Chinese smartphones, which seem to have been in the careless hands of King Midas. And in this case, the soiled back cover of the phone is very easy to forgive. At such and such a price.

The only thing that, perhaps, gives the "non-flagship" status of Shine Lite - weight, thickness and strange location of the power button - above the volume rocker. This, of course, is in any case better than the Alcatel Idol 4S - there it was placed in the upper left corner, which turned out to be a disaster for ergonomics - but the question "why" torments me until then.
However, everything is not so bad. This is largely due to the compact size of Shine Lite: the smartphone belongs to an endangered species of devices with a display diagonal of five inches. It is very comfortable to hold in your hand, even despite the rather slippery glass. Dimensions are just right for girls - it seems to me that this smartphone was created primarily for them.

Otherwise, we have a typical state employee. A screen with HD resolution, decent color reproduction and decent brightness. The pixel density is not very high, so if you look closely, you will see "grain" in the image. This choice is understandable: something higher quality with Full HD-resolution would affect the price and performance.
After all, the processor here is only enough for basic tasks (you can't play "heavy" games) - but in everyday work the smartphone does not slow down and does not heat up. The camera shoots tolerably during the day and simply "falls off" at night. The battery will last for a day - but not for a minute longer. But there are no complaints about the fingerprint scanner at all - it is very fast and accurate.
The most curious thing is that the technical perfection of Shine Lite is simply not needed. By putting all the effort into design and quality materials, Alcatel has stood the concept of the device. Shine Lite is an ideal "first" smartphone, a device for those who either did not have a modern phone at all, or had something completely obscene. This is without any discounts, a truly beautiful thing that does what is required of it - it just works. Yes, you can really order for the same 12 thousand rubles. a much more sophisticated smartphone from China - and if you understand what I'm talking about, then you are not the target audience of Shine Lite.

And for its target audience - girls and women who do not want to spend money on an expensive iPhone, one of Samsung phones or even ZTE Axon 7 and other flagship "handsome", Shine Lite will be a very good choice.>
