The set design for Italian Jewelry: Bulgari Style was specially designed for the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne, which was founded in 1861 and is the oldest and most visited in Australia. The curators paid special attention to the love stories of world famous actresses to the jewelry of the Italian house. Highlights include the famous platinum and diamond necklace donated by Elizabeth Taylor by Richard Burton, the gold and rubies set Sophia Loren wore on the set of Haute Couture (1994), Gina Lollobrigida's 1964 emerald earrings, and a flower piece for hair, in which Ingrid Bergman starred in the film "Visit" (1964).

There will also be more modern pieces that have featured current beauties - actresses Julia Roberts, Julianne Moore and Keira Knightley on the recent red carpet. These are gorgeous earrings, sautoirs, necklaces - in short, everything that embodies the expressive and multicolored style of the Bulgari house.
