The full presentation of the new version of the most popular mobile operating system in the world will take place at the Google I / O conference in mid-May, however, some innovations and changes in Android O are already known. Users expect an increased battery life of devices: in the new version of Android, system control over applications running in the background is revised. Thanks to new algorithms, the operating system will more efficiently close energy-consuming programs that the user is not using at the moment.
In addition, the notification system has been redesigned once again. In Android O, applications will be able to "group" notifications by type - into so-called "channels". Most likely, we are talking about the fact that users will be allowed to independently choose which notifications from programs they want to see in the curtain, and which not. If so, it will become much easier to control the flow of notifications on your smartphone. In addition, according to the description of the version of Android O for developers, the received notifications can be not only swiped, but also "frozen" - they will disappear from the screen for a while, but will reappear on it later.

Among other things, Google wants to improve the sound quality of wireless headphones with a new "high-quality Bluetooth audio codec". And developers will also be able to create so-called "adaptable icons": icons on the desktop will change their appearance and shape depending on the system themes selected by the user.

Other innovations: a full-fledged picture-in-picture mode for watching videos, support for multiple displays (something like Continuum in Microsoft Mobile, with which PowerPoint presentations open on a smartphone can be displayed on a monitor or TV), as well as an improved keyboard.
