There are not many details about the new crossover yet. It is known that it will be smaller in size than Model X, but larger than Model 3. In addition, Musk said that the electric car will be built on a completely new platform (and not based on Model 3, as previously thought), which involves the use of much less wires. Musk also shared details about the launch of sales and the Model 3 itself, which will become Tesla's most affordable car. It should go on sale this summer, and the first owners will be users who have left pre-orders. Since there are enough people who want to buy Model 3, the first batch of cars in terms of equipment, according to Musk, will be very simple - only the color and type of wheels can be changed. This will allow the company to meet the deadlines and not repeat the mistakes of the Model X launch, when, due to the variety of assembly options for a new car, Tesla was unable to deliver cars to customers on time.>
