What else needs to be considered? Composition. Today's denim can be roughly divided into two categories: one that is made exclusively from cotton, and one that is with additives. Bad news: Pure cotton won't stretch. So there is no reason to hope that you will “pass” somewhere there. But 1-2% elastane really works wonders. It is more difficult to miss with straight jeans than with skinny ones, with a high waist - more difficult than with low ones. And the aforementioned skinny is perhaps the easiest to acquire, because due to the composition (in addition to elastane, polyester is also added to them), they are more likely to fit well.
