In April, we already talked about the birth in New York of a new brand of high-tech devices under the auspices of Acer - ConceptD, a completely new brand designed primarily for content creators (designers, artists, photographers, editors, animators), as well as admirers stylish technology.
On September 5 in Berlin, at the next @ acer ConceptD press show, it received updates to its devices - the changes affected laptops, and the release of completely new devices was also announced.
Laptops have the most advanced components available today for demanding tasks, and monitors now provide even higher color accuracy, which is critical when working with 2D graphics and video content. So, for example, the calibration of the matrices of laptops and ConceptD monitors takes place at the factory, and subsequently the user does not need to "screw up" anything (but if desired, this can always be done in the proprietary program ConceptD Palette).

The main exhibition event - the announcement of a new family ConceptD Pro notebooks with graphics cards the NVIDIA ® the Quadro ™ and Intel processors ® Core ™ ninth generation. Importantly, these latest chips are not a fashion statement, but a real necessity: the tasks of content creators get more complicated every year. Processing virtual reality worlds, creating complex applications, training neural networks, analyzing big data and even, oddly enough, trading are just a few areas where you cannot do without high-power systems that can produce results without any delays.
ConceptD Pro models with NVIDIA Quadro RTX graphics, built as part of the RTX Studio program, will be among the first laptops to support real-time ray tracing and artificial intelligence technologies.
At the same time, the new laptops are made in the tradition of the classic ConceptD design, equipped with a keyboard with a backlit warm amber color: due to this solution, the technology looks restrained, but at the same time professional.
The ConceptD Pro family includes several models that can be easily distinguished by the number in the name.

The 17.3-inch ConceptD 9 Pro laptop is the flagship of the line: top-end hardware, full "stuffing" in the form of a tandem of the 9th generation Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA ® Quadro RTX ™ 5000 graphics card with as much as 16 GB of video memory. The PANTONE-Validated 4K screen covers 100% of the Adobe RGB color gamut and provides Delta E <1 color accuracy, while freely rotating in all directions on the proprietary hinges and working with the stylus (included).
The ConceptD 7 Pro laptop was also created as part of the RTX Studio project and, with a smaller screen size (15.6 inches at 4K resolution) and a weight of only 2.1 kg, is ideal for when you need to work on the road or in different locations. At the same time, the filling is to match the older comrade.
ConceptD 5 Pro is a simpler series. The included notebooks with 15.6 and 17.3-inch screens have IPS displays and 4K UHD resolution, and the video card here is NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000. These features will be more than enough for architects, 3D-animators, creators of special effects and small design studios.
Finally, ConceptD 3 Pro is the most affordable and quietest (“noisy” like in a library, no more than 40 dB) model in the family based on NVIDIA Quadro T1000 video card. Its balance of characteristics is optimal for photographers, industrial design students, interior and graphic designers, as well as bloggers and streamers. Acer did not pass by the spring ConceptD 5 model - it has a younger brother, ConceptD 3. Both notebooks received Intel ninth generation processors.
Another novelty presented is the Acer Swift 5 ultrabook, already familiar to the market and users. The company calls it "the lightest 14-inch laptop in the world." And there is a reason. This is one of the lightest models you can find, and yet it is not much behind serious notebooks in terms of performance. At the event Acer Swift 5 got a new thing: now in machines of this series are Intel processors ® Core ® tenth-generation discrete graphics the NVIDIA ® the GeForce ® the MX250, and weight dropped to unimaginable laptop with a separate graphics card 990 What more striking version Acer Swift 5 with integrated graphics Intel ® Iris ® Pro weighs less.

The record weight was achieved thanks to the device body made from a combination of magnesium-lithium and magnesium-aluminum alloys. At the same time, narrow bezels on three sides of the screen allowed to bring the screen-to-body ratio to an impressive 86.4%.
As for battery life, this kid surprises here too: the battery charge will last for a whole working day - up to 12.5 hours. At the same time, Swift 5 supports fast charging: just 30 minutes will be enough to use the laptop for several hours.
Finally, dessert of the next @ acer press release is the all-new Predator Triton 300 gaming laptop. It optimally combines a slim aluminum body, performance and support for all the features you need with an attractive price tag. It weighs just 2.3 kg, the processor operates in tandem with graphics NVIDIA ® GeForce ® GTX 1650 16 GB RAM DDR4 with frequency 2666 Hz (expandable to 32GB).

The 15.6 '' Full HD Narrow Bezel IPS display supports 144Hz refresh rate and a response time of just 3ms. On the keyboard, as it should be for a gaming machine, there are several zones of RGB backlighting. However, the dedicated Turbo and Predator Sense keys, as well as the caps for the arrow keys, WASD and a number of special keys, are concave and transparent to make them easier to find.
In short, now creatives of all specialties have a huge selection of laptops and other ConceptD devices, among which you can choose a device that exactly meets your personal requirements. And if desired and the requirements of the interior of a home or office.
